About Us
Our founder Philip Pezan started his aviation career in 1989 when he enlisted in the United States Navy. Philip served as an Aviation Machinist Mate achieving Second class Petty Officer. In his Navy years, Philip specialized as a Power Plant technician on the SH-60B Sea Hawk, Lockheed P3 Orion, and Honeywell Gtcp-95 and -36 Auxiliary Power units. While on shore duty Philip was promoted to Shop supervisor working Intermediate level maintenance on the GTCP 95 and 36 series APU as well as the GE T56 turboprop engines.
After honorably serving his country for 9 years, Philip joined the Triad Intermediate Maintenance Company (TIMCO) in Lake City Florida where he tested for and received his A-&-P certificates. Philip led the AirTran maintenance line working the DC-9, B737 and B717 aircraft. In June 2001 Philip took his talent to Hawk Aviation in Orlando returning to work on the GTCP- 85 and GTCP-36 series APUs.
In 2004, Philip joined Cessna Citation Service Center in Orlando where he would begin a career in the corporate aviation world. During his Cessna career Philip worked on each Citation model from the first 500s through and including the newest Citation 700 Longitude. Philip worked his way from an entry level Cessna technician to a shift lead and ultimately became Textron Orlando's Operations Maintenance Manager. In this role, Philip managed 33 support managers and 150 technicians. While managing operations, Philip was responsible for ensuring the safe maintenance of customer aircraft. After a successful 18-year career with Textron, Philip left to pursue his entrepreneurial aspirations and founded Aviation Maintenance Partners.
